Dutch-Argentinian soprano Ana-Carmen Balestra is praised for her clear, warm voice and radiant stage presence. A graduate with distinction from the prestigious Guildhall Opera Course in London, she has quickly established herself as both an opera and recital artist. In April 2024, she made her recital debut at the renowned Wigmore Hall.

Ana-Carmen is currently a Young Artist at the National Opera Studio in London, where she has performed on the stages of Glyndebourne, Welsh National Opera, and Scottish Opera. She was also selected for a masterclass at the Royal Opera House with tenor Freddie De Tommaso.

Upcoming highlights include the title role in Anne Frank at the Waterperry Opera Festival, Micaëla in Carmen with Opera2Day & B’Rock in the Netherlands (2025), and her debut with the Dutch National Touring Opera in The Cunning Little Vixen (2026). She is one of the four finalists of Dutch Classical Talent 2025/2026, a prestigious competition for young artists in the Netherlands, through which she will tour fourteen major concert halls with her own curated solo recital.
